Dr. DUPRAZ Christian is a former Director of Research in Agroforestry and Agrivoltaism at INRAe, University of Montpellier, France.  His skillls include Agroecology ; Agroforestry Systems; 3D Modelling of Tree-Crop mixtures; Climate Change; Agrivoltaism; Shade tolerance and adaptation of crops. He designed the first dedicated experimental setting on agrivoltaics in 2009 (at Lavalette, Montpellier, France) and published the founding paper on agrivoltaïsm in 2011, evidencing the high LER of agrivoltaic systems. He launched the Agrivoltaics conferences in 2020, serving as a member of the steering committee on behalf of INRAE, France. He is a board member of the French professional "France Agrivoltaisme" organisation and of the Scientific committee of the French cluster on Agrivoltaics (INRAE). He is a member of the "Académie d’Agriculture de France" (Established 1761).
