Laís Vidotto is an environmental engineer and PhD candidate in civil engineering at the UFSC, and researcher of Fotovoltaica UFSC laboratory. She has been researching agrivoltaic systems since 2022, and is currently focusing her studies in agrivoltaic regulatory development, social and environmental impact assessment of different agrivoltaic configurations. Her background also includes experience in energy cooperatives, carbon emissions, energy transition in the amazon region and the application of circular economy, reuse and recycling practices to the photovoltaic sector.
