Dr Alok Sikka has over 45 years of research and research management experience in natural resources management. He is Ph. D. in Civil & Env. Engineering (Hydrology & Water Resources). Prior to joining IWMI as Country Representative in 2016 he served as Dy. Director General (NRM), Indian Council of Agricultural Research, Delhi, and during that time  he was instrumental in establishing the first AgriPV Pilot at CAZRI, Jodhpur, and was also involved with IKI funded India's AgPv project. He was also convener of Indian National Academy of Agri Sciences Brainstorming session on AgriPV and brought out a Policy Brief.
