Arunendra Kumar Tiwari

Dr. Arunendra Kumar Tiwari is a Fellow at The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI). He brings over a decade of experience in research and consultancy on clean energy technologies. He currently leads TERI’s research on power sector decarbonization and emerging technologies, including SMRs, AgriPV, FSPV and BIPV.
Dr. Tiwari is a Certified Energy Manager and holds a Ph.D. and Postdoctoral in distributed solar energy systems. His work has contributed to the development of several innovative clean technologies, such as solar-powered cold storage units, solar–biomass hybrid dryers, and thermal energy storage systems for low-temperature applications.
In addition to his R&D contributions, Dr. Tiwari is actively engaged in energy consulting, with a focus on resource assessments, state-level energy transition roadmaps, and the role of AgriPV in accelerating decarbonization of the power sector.
