Served IARI as Principal Scientist & Professor and Principal Investigator of Centre of Excellence for AgriPV. Visiting researcher, ILRI, Wageningen, the Netherlands. Worked in the areas of hydrology & water resources, climate change mitigation & adaptation, solar energy in agriculture. Received Jawaharlal Nehru Award-ICAR, Best Teacher award-IARI, Commendation Medal-ISAE. Served as Chief Editor of Agricultural Engineering Today. Guided 16 PhD and 13 masters. Advised FICCI, SFI, and TRIF for implementing Solar Water Pumping Solutions in Jharkhand, Assam and Odisha. Advised Water Resources Department of Nagaland and Meghalaya on Irrigation Benchmarking studies. I Published more than 175 research papers.
