Winkelmann Foundation Screw is part of the Winkelmann Group, a global leader in steel flow forming since 1898. With over 4,000 employees worldwide, the group stands for precision, innovation, and industrial excellence. At Winkelmann Foundation Screw, we bring this legacy into the renewable energy space with a cleaner, faster, and more sustainable alternative to concrete: cold-formed steel screw piles. Installed without excavation and minimal environmental impact, our foundations support solar infrastructure while protecting the land. We’re proud to support the agrovoltaics sector, where energy and agriculture must work hand in hand. Our screw piles are engineered for real-world challenges—soft soils, sloped terrain, and active farmland—ensuring stability without sacrificing cultivable space. We believe sustainability should serve both nature and the people working with it. That’s why our team of civil engineers and technical experts delivers tailored, field-proven foundation solutions—anchoring not just solar systems, but a more sustainable future.

Solar TAP is a Helmholtz initiative to accelerate the deployment of emerging printed photovoltaic technologies such as organic and perovskite solar cells. In collaboration with industry, we aim to unlock new potential for solar energy by integrating these technologies into existing surfaces in agriculture, construction, and transportation.

As a pioneer in agrivoltaics, Sun'Agri responds to climate change emergencies by providing farmers with an innovation that sustainably improves their production while generating solar energy. Dynamic agrivoltaics allows farmers to combine farming and solar louvers without conflict of use and without reducing cultivable land. The louvers are controlled according to the physiological needs of the plant.
